Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for skilled E&I Supervisors to enhance our team in Glasgow. The main responsibility of this role is to manage the installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical, control, and instrumentation projects.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee E&I Operations: Direct all field operations related to electrical and instrumentation tasks on-site to ensure projects are completed successfully within the designated timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks.
  • Compliance Assurance: Guarantee that all E&I operations adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess project progress against established schedules and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between site teams and back-office personnel, as well as other essential stakeholders.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain precise and current project documentation, including work logs, progress reports, and incident records.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Requirements:

  • SJIB Approved Electrician ECS Grade Card.
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent qualifications.
  • 18th Edition IEE Registration or equivalent certification.
  • Health and Safety Training certification.
  • GCSE qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing E&I projects within sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong supervisory capabilities, including delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Recent Basic CRB Clearance with Disclosure Scotland.
  • SJIB Technician ECS Grade Card.
  • Compex 01-04, 05-06 certifications.
  • Inspection and testing 2391 certification.
