About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our safeguarding team in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional social work services to vulnerable individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of risks and needs, and develop effective care plans to ensure the protection and well-being of individuals and families.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client needs and to coordinate services effectively.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing regular reviews and updates to ensure the continued effectiveness of care plans.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and care plans, using computerized case recording systems.
  • Produce reports and documents as required, ensuring compliance with statutory and departmental procedures.
Requirements
  • Social Work England (SWE) registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Valid driving license and access to a car
  • Post-qualified experience as a Social Worker
