About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy finance team working for a prestigious employer in Glasgow. As a key member of the central finance team, you will have the chance to influence stakeholders across the business and drive financial controls and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance operations team, ensuring adequate cost controls are in place.
  • Plan and organise work that aligns to the finance strategy, empowering team leaders to make informed decisions and drive change.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Manage a team of 3, with a total team size of 30, and ensure robust controls and governance are in place.
  • Play a key role in risk management and control, ensuring the Finance Operations Control Framework is adhered to.

What You'll Need

You will have good experience in a similar role and be qualified via ACCA, CA, ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA. With 3 direct reports, you will have good leadership skills and the ability to help empower your team. You will also have good technical skills and the ability to deal with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.
