Senior Consultant Role in Critical Care at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking experienced consultants in critical care to enhance their dedicated team. This is a remarkable opportunity to work in a picturesque rural setting in North Wales. The full-time positions entail ten programmed activities (10 PA) per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily oversight in critical care alongside a team of consultants and junior medical staff
- Engage in a consultant of the week rotation
- Manage daytime clinical responsibilities, including theatre schedules and critical care sessions
- Contribute to an on-call rota for after-hours support
Qualifications Required:
- Registered on the specialist register
- Verification of eligibility for entry onto the specialist register
- Completion of a UK specialist training program (preferred)
- Consultant-level experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated involvement in research initiatives (preferred)
Additional Credentials:
- CCT in intensive care medicine
- Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FFICM)
- Training in echocardiography (FICE or equivalent)
- ALS, ATLS, APLS or equivalent certifications
