Intensive Care Consultant

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to join our critical care team. As a consultant in intensive care medicine, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our critical care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the critical care unit, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Contribute to the development of our critical care services, including the implementation of new policies and procedures, and the evaluation of existing services.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing cover for the critical care unit out of hours.
- Collaborate with other consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements- Name on specialist register
- Proof of eligibility for entry onto specialist register
- Within six months of obtaining a CCT at the time of the interview
- CCT in intensive care medicine
- Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FFICM)
- European Diploma in Intensive Care / UK Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (DICM)
- FRCA
- Other postgraduate qualifications
- Broad-based general experience in critical care
- Experience at consultant level
- Clinical experience in anaesthesia
- Specialist skills or experience
- Out-of-programme experience in a clinical area relevant to the job
