Job Opportunity: Junior Conveyancer

Clear IT Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Junior Conveyancer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a legal assistant to take the next step in their career and become a qualified conveyancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, registration, and closure of the file.
  • Take instructions, communicate with clients and third parties, and draft legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange, and Completion letters.
  • Carry out Pre-completion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches to ensure the file is ready for exchange and completion.
  • Perform Post-Completion work, including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures, and checking account ledgers.

Requirements:

  • A legal assistant or similar looking to develop a career in conveyancing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred but not essential.
