Academic Lecturer in Chinese Language and Culture

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer in Chinese Language and Culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing Chinese language and culture courses at various levels, as well as contributing to the development of new courses and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assess Chinese language and culture courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Develop and deliver new courses and programs in Chinese language and culture
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
- Mentor and supervise students, including PhD students
- Develop and maintain strong links with industry and external organizations
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in a relevant field, experience in teaching and assessing Chinese language and culture courses, and a developing program of research in an area that complements the existing strengths of the department. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
