Position Overview:

Jackson Hogg Ltd is excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Procurement Specialist to join our dedicated procurement consultancy team. This role is designed for a professional who is eager to contribute to innovative procurement strategies and manage project delivery effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage specific projects, demonstrating initiative and leadership.
  • Identify the needs of Public Sector Partners to facilitate the creation of comprehensive tender documentation and execute procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal colleagues to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of public sector procurement regulations to guarantee compliance in all outputs.
  • Provide procurement assistance on various projects, including strategic procurement initiatives and call-off activities.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Supply Chain Partners through effective project management during the delivery phase.
  • Deliver monthly project invoicing updates to support financial forecasting and income claims.
  • Utilize IT software tools, particularly e-procurement platforms, to enhance procurement offerings.
  • Conduct market and supply chain analysis to inform procurement strategies.
  • Perform commercial and qualitative evaluations of diverse procurement projects.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member, managing all accounts and progress in conjunction with colleagues.
  • Organize meetings and events, including venue selection, agenda preparation, and distribution of materials.
