Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales and supply teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with several years of industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
