We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Learning Disability Team at Swindon Borough Council. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with residents, families, and professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, including Care Act Assessments, reviews, and support planning.
  • Work collaboratively with health, provider services, safeguarding, and mental health colleagues to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to colleagues, including safeguarding enquiries and duty rota management.
  • Participate in regular monthly supervision and access support from Advanced Social Workers, Assistant Team Manager, Team Manager, and the wider team.
