Electronics Field Service Engineer, Medical Diagnostic Systems
We are seeking a technically motivated and customer-focused Medical Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems.
The Role
Our ideal candidate will have a competent background in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity gained within any high-value capital equipment environment. You will support clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products located at customer sites.
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- A strong background in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity, with experience in high-value capital equipment environments.
- Applications are encouraged from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex-forces engineers, and a wide range of other electronic or electro-mechanical fields.
- Engineers with experience in the diagnostics field, including autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, and immunodiagnostics systems are also encouraged to apply.
- A qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject to a minimum of ONC level.
- Applicants are welcome from field service engineers from a broad base of sectors, as full and comprehensive product training will be provided.
