Job Description

**Electronics Design Engineer**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at BlueGate Consulting. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design of new products and the maintenance and upgrading of existing products.

  • Manage design projects from conception to volume manufacture, ensuring technical, cost, and product brief requirements are met.
  • Produce practical, robust, and cost-effective electronic designs with appropriate documentation.
  • Design and develop schematic, PCB layout, mechanical, and software designs for products.
  • Specify microcontrollers for embedded systems and program in C.
  • Provide engineering support to other parts of the business as required.

**Requirements**

  • Education to degree level in electronics.
  • Experience of analogue and digital circuits and PCB layout.
  • Programming skills in C for embedded design (STM32 experience preferred).
  • Programming skills in Python for testing solutions.
  • Practical experience of hand building and debugging prototype circuits.
