Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Trauma and Orthopaedics department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and coordinate departmental activities, including scheduling, meetings, and events.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working with hospital systems, such as Camis/EPR.
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality protocols.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
