The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trauma and Orthopaedics Department Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Trauma and Orthopaedics department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Manage and coordinate departmental activities, including scheduling, meetings, and events.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with hospital systems, such as Camis/EPR.
- Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
