Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Physiotherapist/ Occupational Therapist to provide maternity leave cover for our Community Therapy Team in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced therapists to develop their skills and expertise in community rehabilitation.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying a clinical caseload of either Neuro-Medical patients or Falls/Trauma/Orthopaedic patients, providing rehabilitation in homes and care homes. They will also be required to work autonomously in the community, visiting patients and delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a car for use at work and be able to adhere to local and Trust guidance on lone working. They will also require an Enhanced DBS check and be able to work flexibly, including part-time hours.

We offer a dynamic and supportive team environment, with regular in-service training and supervision. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the training and support of junior staff and rehabilitation assistants.
