Corporate Tax Assistant Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in Lincoln. As a key member of our tax advisory team, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, and drafting financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse client base, including monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Draft financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
- Review and provide feedback on work completed by junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Lead liaison with HMRC, preparing and reviewing letters, and ensuring timely submission of tax returns.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, proactively addressing queries and resolving issues.
- Contribute to compliance work, including payment advice letters and other tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as audit, to obtain relevant information and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team and promoting professional development.
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified or studying with previous experience within practice.
- Supervisory experience with good people management skills.
- Self-motivated and reliable, with a drive to progress and deliver technical knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with commercial business acumen.
