About the Role
  • Manage a diverse client base, overseeing all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft financial statements, providing clear and concise information to clients.
  • Review and provide feedback on work completed by junior team members, promoting quality and excellence.
  • Lead liaison with HMRC, preparing and reviewing letters, and ensuring timely responses.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships, proactively addressing queries and resolving issues.
  • Contribute to compliance work, including payment advice letters, and ensure seamless communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as audit, to obtain relevant information and ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team and promoting best practices.
  • Delegate work to junior staff, overseeing workflow and quality control, and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified or studying with previous experience within practice.
  • Supervisory experience with good people management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and commercial business acumen.
