Corporate Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Lincoln. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing advisory services, and overseeing the provision of tax compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, with a focus on advisory work
- Oversee the provision of M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, R&D claims, and other advisory work
- Manage all commercial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring timely fee issuance
- Work closely with Tax Partners to maximize fee income and supervise work in progress and billing
- Analyze and interpret data, preparing tax advice based on findings
- Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries
- Oversee junior staff, monitoring workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
- Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients
- Lead by example, promoting and preserving a positive team culture

Requirements:
- ATT/CTA qualified or part-qualified, with demonstrable experience in a corporate tax supervisory role within practice
- Strong track record of portfolio management experience, with an advisory focus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines
- Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- Sound IT skills to efficiently carry out work
- Comfortable seeking advice to minimize risks
