About Hazel House
Hazel House is a specialist care provider offering support for vulnerable individuals with autism, complex needs, and learning disabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Adult Care Team Leader to join our team in the Grantham area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure the highest standard of care for our occupants.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our occupants.
- Chaperone occupants to appointments and activities, complete relevant paperwork, and undertake household tasks as required.
- Administer medication where necessary and ensure the safe handling of medications.
- Collaborate with the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Requirements
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Currently hold NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent qualification.
- Have previous experience in a similar setting with ambition to progress.
- Have a big heart and passion to make a difference to the occupants' lives.
- Be patient, resilient, and calming.
- Have effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
