We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Functional Assessor. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with a range of physical and/or mental health conditions, enabling them to receive the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals, using your clinical expertise to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily life.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work in an office-style environment and at home, completing assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Registered Nurse with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience.
- NMC pin registration is required.
- UK experience is essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
- A competitive salary of £37,800 per year.
