About the Role

Citi is seeking a skilled Credit Portfolio Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our wholesale and counterparty credit risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Analysis and Risk Management: Develop and implement frameworks for portfolio risk assessment, evaluating credit and financial performance across various lending products and industry segments.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships: Establish and leverage partnerships with key internal and external constituencies to drive business objectives.
  • Risk Management Presentations: Prepare and deliver risk management presentations to senior management, including analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity.
  • Independence and Autonomy: Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy in decision-making, with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in wholesale risk management or equivalent training and experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Credit and Risk Principles: Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
  • Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree preferred.
