Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our permanent team at a GOOD Ofsted-rated primary school in Orpington.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support children's learning, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. This role will involve providing one-to-one support and working with small groups, assisting with classroom management, and helping to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education
  • Providing individualized support to children with varying needs
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Helping to maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to achieve educational goals

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards one)
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for supporting children's development and well-being
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
