Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join our team at Downe Primary School. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or working within a primary school setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our brand new Enhanced Learning Provision for children with SEND, working alongside qualified teachers and leaders. The successful candidate will work in a small group of 10 pupils from a range of primary year groups and also support with cover supervisor duties when required. Experience of working with children with ASD is preferred.

We have increased our PPA offer this year to up to 5 hours for full-time teachers, and regular additional release time scheduled for all subject leaders across the school.
