Land Referencer

We invite you to become a part of our newly established centralized Land Referencing team within Fisher German's expanding Infrastructure Services division.

With over two decades of experience in delivering land referencing services for a variety of projects, Fisher German is seeking a dedicated professional to join our independent Land Referencing team.

This team will engage in significant projects alongside various smaller land referencing initiatives, applying a cohesive strategy and operational practice across all tasks.

By collaborating closely with the Project Delivery and GIS teams, our Land Referencing team plays a crucial role in ensuring meticulous land referencing to facilitate Development Consent Orders (DCOs), Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs), or Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs).

Utilizing specialized tools and systems, the team provides land referencing services to clients while fostering strong relationships with landowners.

We are in search of a Land Referencer equipped with GIS expertise to fulfill our clients' requirements.

This is a full-time role based in our Stafford office, with occasional travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Updating Geospatial layers for significant projects.
  • Managing Geospatial layers within web mapping and mobile applications for major undertakings.
  • Applying land referencing methodologies and processes to enhance project delivery.
  • Assisting with mail merges, including executing tools and processes.
  • Creating notices and related plans for land notifications.
  • Data management, including the interpretation and analysis of all land-related data and reporting.
  • Consolidating results from title due diligence.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the book of reference, particularly in land plan creation.
  • Supporting the team with on-site contact referencing as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, or a related field focused on land.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in land referencing or GIS on significant projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in GIS with experience using Esri software.
  • Valid driving license.
