Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in the company's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take leadership of the group accounting function, including the management and mentoring of one colleague.
- Prepare monthly management accounting and quarterly reporting.
- Develop and implement budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage the accounts payable/receivable function and authorise supplier payment runs.
- Oversee VAT, tax filing, and statutory reporting.
- Manage aged debtor accounts.
- Coordinate monthly payroll.
- Work closely with directors on group company projects.
- Collaborate with auditors and chartered accountants.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Bookkeeper with solid end-to-end accounting experience gained within an SME environment. Ideal candidates will be part/fully professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), but those with demonstrable vocational experience will be given equal consideration.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and develop an enthusiastic colleague.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
