About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Waiting List Coordinator to join our team at the Royal Devon University Hospital. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of waiting lists, providing excellent customer care, and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage waiting lists to ensure accurate and up-to-date treatment pathways.
- Book appointments for procedures from waiting lists, ensuring timely delivery in line with waiting times targets.
- Liaise with other health services to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Assist and support other members of the administrative team, including dealing with telephone calls and resolving patient enquiries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
