Job Title: Reactive Maintenance Estimator

Masterfix is seeking a skilled Reactive Maintenance Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating the costs associated with reactive property maintenance call outs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing specifications and quotes, collaborating with various stakeholders, and providing accurate cost estimates. Your ability to work independently, prioritise multiple projects, and manage deadlines will be essential in driving our continued growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse specifications and quotes to provide accurate cost estimates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of estimating software and processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven experience as an estimator in the reactive property maintenance industry (minimum 5 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and reactive property maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
What We Offer

Masterfix offers a competitive salary of £40K per annum, a pension scheme after qualifying period, 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to work in a fully remote role after probation and training.
