Procurement Specialist

Rise Resourcing is seeking a skilled Dairy Buyer to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality dairy commodities while maintaining commercial targets. Your expertise will be essential in managing the end-to-end procurement process, including market research, competitive pricing, supplier selection, and negotiation. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth running of the procurement processes. Key responsibilities include:

* Sourcing dairy commodities such as butter, cream, milk, and cheese
* Continuously reviewing contracts and benchmarking, tendering, re-negotiating, and executing contracts/agreements with suppliers to improve quality, service, and cost efficiency
* Monitoring dairy procurement success criteria to track departmental performance
* Liaising with production, NPD, finance, technical, sales, and operations teams to ensure a smooth running of the procurement processes

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Proven experience in a procurement or indirect role
* Experience in a fast-paced retail/FMCG environment
* Knowledge of dairy buying and procurement
* Excellent understanding of MS Office products, including advanced Excel
