Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to join our dynamic team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in enhancing the provision of specialist Gynaecology Oncology care at our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Join a large and cohesive team of 24 consultants providing general and specialized obstetrics and gynaecology services to the population of East Hampshire and neighboring areas.
- Participate in the gynaecology on-call rota and contribute to the development of clinical pathways, guidelines, and policies.
- Engage in resource management and provide expert advice on the efficient and smooth running of a safe service.
- Develop and deliver educational programs for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Contribute to the development of research projects and critically review research papers.

Requirements- Full GMC registration and on the GMC Specialist Register, or within 6 months of receiving CCT (or equivalent) in Gynaecology Oncology.
- MRCOG or equivalent approved by PMETB.
- Completion of RCOG subspecialty in Gynaecological Oncology or equivalent.
- Extensive skills and experience in laparoscopic and open surgical management of Gynaecology Oncology and acute gynaecological emergencies.
- BSCCP accredited Colposcopist or equivalent.
