We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to join our dynamic team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with gynaecological malignancies, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultant-level care to patients with gynaecological malignancies, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
- Engage in teaching and training of junior medical staff and students.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Full GMC registration and on the GMC Specialist Register in Gynaecology Oncology.
- Completion of RCOG subspecialty in Gynaecological Oncology or equivalent.
- Experience in laparoscopic and open surgical management of gynaecological malignancies and acute gynaecological emergencies.
- Knowledge of clinical and technical skills to provide a consultant service in gynaecology oncology.
