About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Gynaecology Oncology to join our dynamic team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in gynaecology oncology and laparoscopic surgery.

Main Duties

The Consultant will be responsible for providing clinical services in gynaecology oncology, including weekly oncology outpatient clinics, operating sessions, rapid access PMB and colposcopy sessions. They will also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical pathways and guidelines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have GMC registration, be on the GMC Specialist Register, and have completed a RCOG subspecialty in Gynaecological Oncology. They will also have experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training in basic research techniques.
