Lead Structural Engineer - Our client, a prominent Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team.
The Lead Structural Engineer will engage in a diverse range of Residential and Commercial Development projects, with a particular emphasis on reinforced concrete structures, specifically in mid to high-rise residential developments.
This role requires the individual to be a key point of contact for significant projects while receiving close support from an Associate. The position offers a dynamic workload, allowing involvement in all project phases from initial design through to on-site construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits across the UK for extension and refurbishment projects.
- Collaborate on new-build initiatives.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience within a UK consultancy environment and be actively pursuing chartership. A strong understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes is essential, along with expertise in steel, concrete, timber, and load-bearing masonry structures.
Position Requirements:
- Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant software, particularly TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot, and TEDDS.
- Comprehensive knowledge of structural materials.
