Newly Weds Foods is a leading global food ingredients business with a rich history of innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Development Technologist to join our team at our Banbury site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of innovative retail coatings for branded and private label products, from concept to launch. This will involve delivering concept presentations, conducting factory trials, and developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a degree in a food-related discipline and experience in concept development in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be willing to undertake frequent travel within the UK and occasional travel overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative retail coatings for branded and private label products
  • Deliver concept presentations and conduct factory trials
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Take responsibility for own administration
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a food-related discipline
  • Experience of concept development in a food manufacturing environment
  • Full driving licence
