Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for building and deploying innovative security controls that protect public cloud workloads in alignment with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Security Controls Development: Design, develop, and deploy security controls in Azure and AWS public cloud environments.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure public cloud workloads are compliant with regulatory standards and identify potential risks to mitigate.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Security, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure effective security controls and processes.
  • Cloud Security Tools and Technologies: Utilize Cloud Service Provider's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools, such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, to posture assess public cloud workloads.
  • Security as Code: Work with the Security as Code (SAC) pipeline to test and deploy security controls that ensure PNC workloads are secure by default.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve security controls and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on public cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security. Proficient in scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Experience with Cloud Service Provider's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools and Security as Code (SAC) pipeline.
  • Certifications: Cloud security certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
