About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in building and deploying innovative security controls that protect our public cloud workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Security Controls Development: Design, develop, and deploy security controls in Azure and AWS environments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Cloud Security Posture Management: Utilize Cloud Service Provider's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools and Palo Alto Prisma Cloud to assess and improve the security posture of our public cloud workloads.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Security, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure effective security controls and processes.
  • Security Solutions Engineering: Engineer and configure security solutions and processes for Microsoft Azure and AWS, including automation and orchestration of cloud software deployment.
  • Security Compliance and Governance: Ensure alignment with operational security requirements and regulatory standards, and provide analysis of workloads to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Cloud Security Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a strong understanding of AWS and Azure public cloud products and services.
  • Security Controls Development: Experience in developing and deploying security controls as code to public cloud workloads in Azure and AWS.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and experience with Git, including branching workflows.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and problem-solve with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Security Certifications: Cloud security certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Experience with cloud security platforms, such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, and cloud security tools, such as Cloud Service Provider's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and automation tools, such as Ansible or Terraform.
