Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health and safety, and internal audits within the restaurant.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff.
  • Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and employee development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of inventory and financial controls, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
