We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients who present with complex needs, providing full-time hours and a rewarding career opportunity.
About the TeamOur Occupational Therapy team is part of an ever-changing, organic service that seeks out new ideas to meld with established practice. We strive to deliver the best treatment interventions in collaboration with our patient group, evidencing and researching the professional impact of our work.
About the JobAs a registered OT, you will join a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and innovative OT team. You will take responsibility for a clinical caseload, offering OT-specific assessment and treatment to groups and individuals within your care. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop good professional relationships with members of the MDT and community partners.

We offer an inclusive and 'can-do' attitude in approaching your work, seeking to offer Occupational Therapy to all patients within our care. You will demonstrate good understanding of OT within secure services, including an application of risk assessment skills.
You will have the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive OT induction package, as well as a full preceptorship programme through your first 12 months, including monthly clinical supervision from a registered OT. Continued professional development is encouraged, with access to a range of in-house CPD events, as well as an expectation to support the development and training of OT students.
