About the Role

The Senior Internal Communications Manager is a key position within The LEGO Group, responsible for driving the company's global internal communications strategy and connecting colleagues with its mission, values, and business ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Global Communication Campaigns
    • Design and implement strategic global internal communication campaigns to engage colleagues globally and deepen colleague engagement and motivation.
    • Lead and create global communication campaigns and plans around business priorities, critical changes, transformations, and sensitive topics such as organizational restructures.
  • Lead Colleague Engagement and Motivation
    • Play a leading role in the team effort to evolve the approach to global colleague engagement and internal communications, including approach to campaign planning and the use of data and research in colleague engagement.
    • Translate business/strategic priorities into relevant and engaging stories, content, and events tailored to the right moments, audiences, and channels.
  • Support Senior Leader Communications
    • Play a lead role in supporting senior leader communications, including coaching and equipping leaders to effectively communicate business priorities and organizational change.
  • Contribute to Employer Branding Efforts
    • Contribute to employer branding efforts designed to attract and retain talent critical to delivering the Group's strategic ambitions.
Requirements
  • Internal Communications Expertise
    • An internal communications expert with experience working in diverse, global companies.
  • Creative Campaign Development
    • Strong track-record of creating and leading creative internal communications campaigns and events, and creating effective and engaging leader communications.
  • Transformational Change Experience
    • Significant experience in crafting and delivering communication plans for global transformational change programs – including organizational changes and restructures.
  • Leadership and Partnership Skills
    • Excellent partner leadership skills with the confidence to act as an effective counsel to senior management.
  • Commercial Understanding and Digital Expertise
    • Sound commercial understanding.
    • Expert in digital communications.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Uses data and analytics to track and inform performance.
  • Language and Communication Skills
    • Sophisticated written and spoken English.
