Role Overview:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Solomons Europe, you will serve as a professional advisor embedded within client projects. Your assignments will be diverse, providing opportunities to collaborate with client organizations, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, and specialized subcontractors. Comprehensive training on NEC4 contracts will equip you to lead in subcontract procurement, administration, and cost forecasting.

In this capacity, you will frequently engage with the Solomons management team, sharing client insights and project updates. You will oversee contract and commercial matters for clients, delivering strategic commercial advice and analysis. Your responsibilities will include identifying innovative solutions to complex project challenges, necessitating collaboration and influence to promote the adoption of enhanced methods and processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree level education or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Procurement / Commercial Management / Engineering BSc (HNC/HND qualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered).
• Ideally qualified or working towards professional membership or qualification of an accredited professional institute (e.g., RICS/CIPS/ICE or similar).
• Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel (essential due to client site locations).
