Role Overview:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Solomons Europe, you will serve as a professional advisor integrated into client projects. Your assignments will be diverse, providing opportunities to collaborate with client organizations, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, and specialized subcontractors. Comprehensive training on NEC4 contracts will equip you to take the lead in subcontract procurement, administration, and cost forecasting.

In this position, you will frequently engage with the Solomons management team, sharing insights and updates on client projects. You will oversee contract and commercial matters for clients, offering strategic commercial advice and analysis. Your responsibilities will include identifying innovative solutions to complex project challenges, necessitating collaboration and influence to promote the adoption of enhanced methods and processes.

Qualifications:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying / Procurement / Commercial Management / Engineering (Candidates with HNC/HND qualifications and relevant experience may be considered).
• Ideally, you should be qualified or working towards professional membership or qualification from an accredited professional institute (e.g., RICS/CIPS/ICE or similar).
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel is essential due to the locations of client sites and Solomons offices.
