Lead Engineer / Maintenance Team Leader

Join our team at TechNichols Resourcing Ltd as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer / Maintenance Team Leader to oversee all maintenance and technical work in one of our automated factories. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a maintenance and technical team of up to 15 staff members on shift, with a focus on bringing a sense of positivity and enthusiasm to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all maintenance and technical work in the factory, both proactively and reactively.
  • Lead a maintenance and technical team of up to 15 staff members on shift.
  • Plan and schedule work while utilizing the CMMS system.
  • Minimize downtime and establish and combat recurring problems.
  • Provide necessary training to engineers by way of upskilling and development.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture and provide support, guidance, and delegation of works to the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing a team of Engineers, in positions such as Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, etc.
  • Experience in a similar environment, such as Production, Manufacturing, Automation, or Industrial.
  • Excellent staff / people management skills and experience.
  • Familiarity with a maintenance management system and experience delegating work to a team.
  • Exposure to and promotion of Health & Safety and Compliance Procedures.
  • Computer literate.
