About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research and Development Technologist to join our team in Banbury. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for the innovative development of retail coatings for both branded and customer own label products from concept through to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality coating systems for different food manufacturers, both branded and private label, from concept through to launch.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop coatings that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct factory trials of new products and ensure that they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Take responsibility for your own administration and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a food-related discipline.
  • Experience of concept development in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the food industry, including poultry, fish, potato & vegetables, and meat alternatives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
