Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research and Development Technologist to join our team in Banbury. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for the innovative development of retail coatings for branded and customer own label products from concept through to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality coating systems for different food manufacturers, both branded and private label, from concept through to launch.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct factory trials of new products and ensure that they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers, and take responsibility for your own administration.
  • Have a passion for ingredient functionality, a curiosity for consumer trends, and a strong understanding of the food industry.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a food-related discipline.
  • Experience of concept development in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to undertake frequent travel within the UK and occasional travel overseas.
