We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assessor and Lecturer to join our team at Newcastle & Stafford Colleges Group. As an Assessor and Lecturer in Accounting, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality apprenticeships and underpinning knowledge to students.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, including the development of Higher Apprenticeships.
- Deliver high-quality apprenticeships through workplace assessment and underpinning knowledge, with a bias towards accounting at levels 2-4.
- Take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers, managing key accounts, schools/colleges, and events.
- Complete all required information under projects, including Initial Assessment and Individual Learning Plan.
- Hold appropriate Assessor and/or Teaching qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Have relevant industrial experience within the accounting sector.
- Local Government Pension Scheme (defined benefits scheme with 24% employer contribution).
- 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 following 5 years' service (plus bank holidays and Christmas closure period).
