Work Schedule: This role requires a commitment of 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, with a flexible shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the pharmacy department in delivering an outstanding medication management service to all clients, overseeing the procurement, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
- Provide pharmaceutical expertise and contribute to the care of patients within the healthcare facility.
- Facilitate the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring a safe and effective medication management service for all patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory, professional, and best practice standards.
- Engage in audit activities aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided by the department, including reporting on medication incidents.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Pharmacy.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (any existing or pending Fitness to Practice issues must be declared upon application).
- A postgraduate diploma relevant to hospital pharmacy practice is desirable but not mandatory.
- Clinical pharmacy experience in a secondary acute setting or a proven ability to apply clinical skills in an acute environment.
- Membership in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
- Experience in acute private healthcare.
