Clinical Lead Job Description

As a Clinical Lead at Domus Recruitment, you will play a key role in leading the clinical direction of our services. You will report into the Registered Manager and be responsible for advising, coaching, and developing teams to deliver good clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and Development: Support members of the care operational team to deliver good clinical outcomes by advising, coaching, and developing teams.
  2. Referrals and Interventions: Lead on referrals to the home, both private and Local Authority related, and ensure nursing interventions are research-based and underpinned by NICE and other lead healthcare bodies.
  3. Team Management: Recruit, retain, manage, develop, and motivate a team of Nursing/Care staff.
  4. Induction and Supervision: Ensure nurses are inducted, supervised, and appraised in line with Outlook Care procedures and undertake performance management where required.
  5. Clinical Guidance: Ensure clinical guidance manuals are updated, relevant, and reflect best practice.
  6. Clinical Training: Ensure clinical training is available to all staff based on needs of residents.
  7. Reviews and Support: Ensure nurses undertake reviews where residents' needs are complex, and resident is at risk of being served notice offering direct support where required.
  8. End-of-Life Care: Develop our approach to supporting people with End-of-Life care and Complex Nursing needs.
Clinical Lead Requirements:
  1. Registration: Registered nurse with current NMC pin Number.
  2. CQC Knowledge: Knowledge of CQC requirements.
