Clinical Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our team at Domus Recruitment. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in leading the clinical direction of our service and supporting the Registered Manager in achieving our goals.

1. Leadership and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to members of the care operational team to deliver good clinical outcomes, ensuring relevant standards and protocols are understood and implemented.
2. Referral Management: Lead on referrals to the service, including private and Local Authority-related referrals.
3. Clinical Excellence: Ensure nursing interventions are research-based and underpinned by NICE and other leading healthcare bodies.
4. Team Management: Recruit, retain, manage, develop, and motivate a team of Nursing/Care staff.
5. Induction and Supervision: Ensure nurses are inducted, supervised, and appraised in line with our procedures, and undertake performance management where required.
6. Clinical Guidance: Ensure clinical guidance manuals are updated, relevant, and reflect best practice.
7. Clinical Training: Ensure clinical training is available to all staff based on their needs.
8. Complex Care: Ensure nurses undertake reviews where residents' needs are complex, and the resident is at risk of being served notice, offering direct support where required.
9. Clinical Development: Continue to develop clinical practice relating to MCA and Dols, End of Life Care, diabetes, and any other healthcare needs provided for.
10. End-of-Life Care: Develop our approach to supporting people with End-of-Life care and Complex Nursing needs.

1. Registration: Registered nurse with current NMC pin number.
2. CQC Knowledge: Knowledge of CQC requirements.
