Spencer Private Hospitals Ltd is excited to announce an opening for a Theatre Scrub Nurse. As an independent healthcare provider, we offer the successful candidate the chance to work in the operating theatre, caring for patients undergoing elective surgical procedures. The range of surgeries includes straightforward day cases to more intricate large bowel operations, providing a diverse and challenging environment for the right candidates.

Primary Duties

  • Facilitate the delivery of both direct and indirect patient care within the operating department.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to implement and assess care pathways for patients in the perioperative setting.
  • Engage with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure timely patient care delivery.
  • Uphold patient care standards and assist in the enhancement of care delivery systems and practices.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with professional standards.
  • Administer and manage medications following organizational policies.
  • Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Continuously update professional knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve and maintain high-quality care standards.
