Robert Walters is partnering with a leading organisation in central Reading to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

This role represents a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to join our client in a business partnering role, working across various business units to deliver commercial insight and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with stakeholders through commercial information and analysis
  • Providing commentary on cost variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers
  • Supporting the business to optimise operations and drive financial performance
  • Reviewing and challenging the impact of investment programmes on BAU activity
  • Driving continuous process improvement and delivering timely and impactful financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/C.A) with 3+ years of experience in a commercial, business partnering environment
  • Experience in costings and building cost allocation models is highly advantageous
  • Wider FP&A experience is desirable due to the business partnering nature of the role
  • Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
  • Excellent benefits package, including an opportunity to earn a bonus (15%)
  • 28 days holiday, private medical cover, and hybrid working (2 days a week from central Reading offices)
