About the Role:
The Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) plays a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of care plans for children in care and those at risk of significant harm. Working within a statutory framework, the IRO collaborates with social workers, families, and various agencies to guarantee that each child's care plan is focused on their best interests and fully implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that care plans are effective and focused on the child's best interests.
- Collaborate with social workers, families, and agencies to implement care plans.
- Provide quality assurance and monitoring of care plans.
- Identify and address any gaps or concerns in care plans.
Requirements:
