Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Munich Re Specialty Group is a leading global reinsurer, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Expense Planning and Analysis team, you will play a critical role in driving business success through financial planning and analysis.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Expense Planning, Analysis & Partnering and work closely with stakeholders across the organization to lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes. You will be responsible for producing high-quality financial planning and forecasting materials, as well as supporting the Head of Expense Planning in delivering business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual expense planning and budgeting process within the Munich Re Specialty Group and GSI planning and forecasting processes.
- Support the quarterly expense reporting and analysis process for Munich Re Specialty Group and GSI, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful actual vs. budget comparisons.
- Work with Expense Business Partners to clearly understand and articulate the Munich Re Specialty Group and GSI expense base, cost drivers, and impact on business performance.
- Support the production of expense sections of quarterly Board reports and annual plan presentations, incorporating quality insight and analysis.
- Adhere to the process and controls framework for the Expense Planning and Analysis team.
- Work with the Reinsurance Controlling Team (RIC) to deliver expense planning and forecasting deliverables for GSI.
- Support Executive Board members with their planning and budgets.
Requirements:
- Strong financial modeling and variance analysis skills.
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified accountant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
